Today’s challenge is to write my first blog post about what I have learned in the first 4 weeks at ROI.
My Topic – The Importance of Collaboration.
I Felt Overwhelmed
The first week was tough, so much to learn. Despite the initial uncertainty, I am proud to say that these past few weeks have been an incredible learning experience. I have gained confidence in my abilities and have realized that with teamwork and collaboration, any challenge can be tackled comfortably.
Collaborating with Our Clients
My first piece of client work was exhausting. I tried to become a subject expert on the client’s industry. Until one of ROI team’s members re-assured me that it was ok to ask our customers questions “tap into our client’s knowledge as much as you can”
Collaborating with Our Client’s Audiences
Every piece of work we do here at ROI, we need to answer 2 questions
– What are we trying to achieve?
– Who is our audience?
– How are we helping our audience?
Staying true to the above principles, is really helping improve the quality and effectiveness of my work.
Collaboration Among Our Team
Collaboration is at the heart of ROI, and it’s something we take great pride in. I’ve been lucky enough to work with highly experienced colleagues who have shared their knowledge, expertise, and perspectives with me. Through collaboration, we have brought out each other’s unique qualities, and this has helped us work towards a better, healthier future for ourselves and our clients.
So if you have some ideas or would value a fresh perspective, I am here with the team at ROI to listen and collaborate in 2023.
